Program

Day 1: to the imperial city of Fez

  • Visit of the Medina of Fez, a historic city protected by UNESCO. We will explore its narrow streets, bustling souks and public squares,
  • Visit of the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859, considered the oldest university in the world,
  • Discovery of Place Nejjarine and its fountain, a beautiful meeting place for the inhabitants of the city,
  • Visit to the Leather Tannery, a traditional workplace where skins are transformed into finished products.

Day 2: to the imperial city of Fez

  • Excursion to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city located about 30 minutes from Fez. You can see mosaics and archaeological remains,
  • Visit of the Jnan Sbil Garden, a botanical garden with many species of trees, flowers and fountains,
  • Visit of the Moulay Idriss Tomb, a religious site dedicated to Moulay Idriss, the founder of the city of Fez,
  • Tasting of local cuisine in a traditional restaurant to discover the flavors of the region.

Day 3: Chefchaouene

Departure from Fez, in the morning around 9:00/10:00 am, crossing the Rif mountains, offering magnificent natural landscapes. You can admire the surrounding mountains, green hills and fertile valleys, as well as traditional villages and local cultures.

Lunch at Motel Rif, a restaurant on our way that allows its visitors to rest in the setting of a green space characterized by the beauty of the landscape and the serenity of the countryside.

Arriving in Chefchaouen, we take a tour of the city, on the program:

  • Get ready to visit the mosque at the top, offering a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding mountains,
  • We will stop to take beautiful photos, drink a coffee and admire the landscape, disconnect from the hectic pace of everyday life and simply enjoy the present moment,
  • After 2 or 3 hours we descend to explore the local souks, taste Moroccan food, and relax in the gardens and terrace cafes.
  • Then we attend a local music show,
  • Direction ? Our hotel-Riad for dinner and overnight stay. Also admire the sunset, a moment of relaxation and contemplation, as well as a spectacular view of the horizon and the changing colors of the sky.

Day 4: Rabat

Your day will be devoted to visiting the imperial city of Rabat. You will have the opportunity to discover its ancient remains and monuments, and to stroll through the alleys of its old medina.

In the program :

  • Visit of the Mohamed V mausoleum,
  • Direction the Kasbah of the Oudayas,
  • Lunch on your own during the day,
  • Departure to the necropolis of Chellah,
  • Walk to rue des Consuls,
  • Free time in the old medina,
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Marrakech - The 3 valleys

A wonderful excursion awaits you, during which you will discover the most spectacular valleys of the region of Marrakech. The Ourika Valley, Sidi Fares and the Asni Valley.

In the program:

  • 8:00 a.m. – Departure from Marrakech for the Atlas Mountains.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Arrival at the Ourika Valley and departure for a hike in the mountains. Enjoy the spectacular mountain views and discover the Berber villages of the region.
  • 12:00 p.m. – Lunch break in one of the many local restaurants. Taste the traditional cuisine and meet the locals.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Continuation of the hike in the Ourika Valley. Enjoy nature and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
  • 3:00 p.m. – Departure for the Asni valley. Admire the green landscapes and terraced crops.
  • 4:00 p.m. – Arrival at the valley of Sidi Fares. Enjoy nature and discover the region’s waterfalls and gorges.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Return to Marrakech for the end of the day.

Day 6: The city of Essaouira

Essaouira is a coastal city located about 200 km west of Marrakech. It’s a popular destination due to its Portuguese-style architecture, white-sand beaches, and its relaxed atmosphere.

In the program:

  • 8:00 a.m. – Departure from Marrakech to Essaouira.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Arrival in Essaouira and departure for a guided tour of the city. See Portuguese-style architecture, historic fortifications and cobbled streets.
  • 12:00 p.m. – Lunch break in one of the many local restaurants. Taste the fresh fish cuisine and meet the locals.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Continuation of the city tour, visiting the lively fishing port, white sand beaches and local craft shops.
  • 3:00 p.m. – Free time to explore the city on your own. Stroll the streets, go shopping or just relax on the beach.
  • 5:00 p.m. – Return to Marrakech at the end of the day.

Day 7: Marrakech - Half day at Terres d'Amanar

Terres d’Amanar is an adventure park located near Marrakech. It offers a variety of activities for thrill seekers, such as the zip line, the high course and the via ferrata course.

In the program:

  • 9:00 a.m. – Departure from Marrakech for Terres d’Amanar.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Arrival at Terres d’Amanar and departure for a safety briefing.
  • 10:30 a.m. – Start of your adventure with a zipline course. Enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains and the feeling of freedom that this activity provides.
  • 12:00 p.m. – Lunch break in the park restaurant.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Continuation of the adventure with an elevated course or a via ferrata course. Enjoy the feeling of challenge that these activities provide.
  • 3:00 p.m. – End of your half-day at Terres d’Amanar and departure for Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech - Half day Nzaha

Breakfast at the hotel,

Morning: 2 hours of entertainment with a folk group with a mint tea break and Moroccan pastries

Possibility to have lunch in a Moroccan house

Free afternoon to discover the city of Marrakech.

We end our day with a wonderful evening at the Narwama restaurant, known for its lively atmosphere and menu of traditional Moroccan dishes. Savor a delicious dinner while watching a live show. Also enjoy the colorful decorations and silk tablecloths, as well as the lively atmosphere created by the waiters in traditional costume.

Share memories and stories, but also attend a dance performance and live music. We return to our hotel to rest and prepare for departure back home the next day.
