Day 1 - Arrival in Fes

Day 2 - Fes - Chefchaouen

Morning: city tour of Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities. Panoramic view south then discovery of the various facets of this city: It is the largest in Morocco and the most exciting. It was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1976. Its labyrinth streets lead to a multitude of historical wonders and souks. It is the historic heart of the city, established on the slopes of a basin crossed by the Fez river. It is the medina, with its medersas: Attarine (built between 1323 and 1325) and Bou Anania (built between 1350 and 1357 by Sultan Abou Inane), Nejjarine fountain, Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the famous Karaouine mosque (entry forbidden to non-Muslims).

Day 3 - Chefchaouen

A city located in the Rif mountains, northwest of Morocco. It is famous for the remarkable buildings of different shades of faded blue in its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled streets. In the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the red-walled casbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon with ethnographic and artistic exhibits.

Day 4 - Chefchaouen – Rabat - Casablanca

After breakfast,

Departure to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will start your city tour from Dar El Makhzen (Royal Palace), with a view of the exterior only. This palace dates back to 1864 and now houses more than 2000 people, it includes prime ministers offices, the imperial college, the Ahl Fas mosque, the small hippodrome and the barracks of the Black Guard. Opposite, visit the Mausoleum Mohamed V, 400 Moroccan craftsmen contributed to build this mausoleum. You will then go to the Kasbah of the Oudayas. From the square or on the north side, you will see the door of the Oudayas.

Afternoon: Brief city tour in Casablanca, the largest city in the country and economic capital of the Kingdom: the large United Nations Esplanade, surrounded by the courthouse, the prefecture and the residential district of Anfa. Photo stop in front of the impressive Hassan II mosque, continuation along the corniche.

Day 5 - Casablanca – Essaouira

Departure to Essaouira

Essaouira, also known as Mogador, is haven of peace which has not ceased to seduce all its visitors since its creation. Discover the harmony of its treasures, colors, architecture and its cultures which make it one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco.

Day 6 - Essaouira – Marrakech -

Day 7 - Marrakech

Our day will begin in the “European” district of Guéliz, where we will visit the Majorelle garden, with its stunning blue colours. Then, we will go to the Bahia Palace which remains one of the rare examples of 19th century residences, before discovering the Saadian tombs made up of two mausoleums, architectural masterpieces, and a hundred tombs. They were long forgotten, between the death of the mad sultan Moulay Yazid, the last Saadian sultan to be buried there, and then found by French archaeologists. In the afternoon, we will reach the museum of Dar Si Saïd, museum of Moroccan arts, before visiting the medersa Ben Youssef, founded in the 16th century by Moulay Abdallah. Finally, we will stroll through the souks which are among the most picturesque in Morocco, before ending our stay with a walk on the popular square of Jemaa el Fna, with its dancers, jugglers, snake charmers and storytellers.

Day 8 - Departure From Marrakech

Transfer to the airport for the return flight.
